Amsterdam

So, as promised, here are some snap shots from my 5 days in Amsterdam last week. I'm already missing it! The city was beautiful - every canal bridge was clustered with bicycles, every turn provided postcard-ready views, and every winding alley sported intriguing street art. I was fascinated too by the locals, streaking through the streets on their bikes. There's something so utterly sophisticated about quietly-stylish women on bikes. I'm still astounded that many of the local women I saw pedaling past managed to ride in skirts and heels, and didn't flash/fall off and break an ankle! Now that is a skill.
